Cacao has been a daily ritual for me over the last 18 months, since moving to Devon. It started as a simple delicious drink but over time it has become something much more sacred. A chance to slow down, listen deeply and come back to my heart.
And looking back, I can see how much has grown from that daily ritual. It has opened me up to new connections, given me the strength to create a beautiful home, woven a loving community around me and supported me to build a life that I feel really proud of.
So when Radek told me he was opening a cacao shop in Totnes, I knew I wanted to make a print for him. Something as special and as magical as the shop itself, and something that honoured what this medicine has come to mean to me.
Rose and Cacao, two sacred elixirs of the heart. Beneath them are the mycelial threads that remind me of the enormous invisible network we are all part of, and above, Grandmother Moon, who connects us to our natural rhythms and reminds us to dream a little bigger than we thought we could.
I have been journeying with the words RADICAL COURAGE for some time now. I love that radical comes from the Latin radix, meaning root, while courage comes from cœur, meaning heart. So radical courage to me is simply about having the courage to put down roots and live from the heart. To be still enough to listen to what is your heart's truth and bring it home.
I feel that kind of courage in my own life. With every cup the sacred fire in my heart burns a little brighter and my roots sink down a little deeper.
Each of these limited edition prints have been hand-burnished onto handmade hemp paper, using only the chocolatiest of browns .
